25th July 2020

Well its been a while but we are finally there!
Group of 4 individuals Mike and Gwen husband and wife on swims 9&10,Petes back for another crack on swim 11, and first time to the lake Matt from Essex is fishing swim 4 until Tuesday.
Very excited to be back, our new boilie ArchiePeachy is going very well just like its predecessor, we also sell glug, pop ups and wafters to match the boilie, Supplied by Carp PB boilies run by Colin and Helen who are based locally in France, they have been supplying a lot of big venues over here for a while now.
ArchiePeachy has been completely reworked by Colin and we are so pleased with the end result and as most of you know our fish do prefer fruit favours to fishy smelling stuff, thats   why we stuck with the peach flavour.  The banning of all particles/nuts etc etc this season with the rule now being fresh frozen boilie and only our feed pellet has been reflected in the price of the boilie and making it 18 euros cheaper for 5 kgs than for the old peachy keen keeping the cost down for you guys.
So back to the fishing everyones using bait boats thats a good start +++ Archiepeachy was going in as I wrote this.
Petes as always started well Stallone @ 53 lb and another two 30 +  stockies from couple of seasons again biggest 35 lb, Matt on swim 4 very last night 44 lb, all fish taken on glugged hookbaits over Archiepeachy crumb and freebies,Gwen Tuesday lunchtime tripped up Nobby on swim 9 essential cell topped with purple pop up snowman style fishing over pellet/cell/Archiepeachy.
Pete tripped up another 2 fish Wednesday Tyla @ 48 lb 10 oz caught on a Archiepeachy bottom bait snowman style and lunch time a very battered male fish  Nemo @ 36 lb, still Pete and swim 11 Thursday afternoon just before everyone come up for dinner 41 lb 12 oz this time pink pop up fishing over Archiepeachy glugged freebies,
Pete has run away with it now 4 am Friday 44 lb followed by 42 lb at lunchtime, but the star of the week showed herself on swim 9 off the Daisy spot yes daisy Gwen tripped her up new Pb @ 63 lb 4 oz on a cell snowman topped with a purple pop up fishing over glugged archiepeachy freeibes.

Temperatures were silly  Monday hitting 100 degrees in the shade Thursday afternoon we see 41 degrees,Friday was our hottest day 42 degrees crazy, south westerly is with us pressure didnt change1016-1017 and water temperature 30-32 degrees.

11th July 2020

So with our first group approaching fast it was time to get the rods out for a mini session I was joined by Pete who lives local and has been helping out on the lake during this terrible time, Pete is also one our individuals fishing the first week of the season on the 25 July

Looking back over the several days we fished it wasnt easy the fish moved to the other side of the lake, but between myself and Pete we tripped up 11 fish 8 x 40s 3 x 30s fishing over the lake boilie and pellet, rigs used IQ D-Rigs, spinner rigs on IQ,size 2/4 krank and curve shank hooks, 4 oz leads, lead clip systems with 1 meter of tubing, back leaded and bait boats were used.  Hookbaits were mainlines special edition pop ups and barrel peppered peach wafters, hope this is useful to anglers coming out in the coming months, see you soon #archipelagocarpfishing #lakelife #carpfishing #carpfishingfrance #exclusivelakehire #exclusivelakebooking  @ Archipelago Carp Fishing France

Hi Guys, its been a while but we are nearly here kicking off the 2020 season with individual group arriving on the 25 July,
The lakes and surroundings are looking shunning the water is super blue after reapplying the blue dye, the fish have been fed regularly on just pellet and boilie in various places around the lake some new spots and where the fish get caught off,
We still have a few late dates available later in the year for exclusive lake booking if you are looking for somewhere to fish.
Remember FB and instagram will have all the latest on catches and updates so stay tuned.

29th April 2020

New lake record Daisy 70 lb 4 oz swim 9 BOOM !

26th April 2020

That's the jobs complete around the lake again so back down the lake this evening for a couple of nights before they spawn.

Weather has been very warm humid stormy winds are light to nothing tons of heavy rain.

My Fingers were crossed I could trip a couple up before they wreck the place lol.

Nothing in the night but I was up just after 6 am on the rods you don't catch nothing in your bag always time to sleep at home i was pleased to slip the net under My Jenny her best weight 50 lb 8 oz trIpped up on a IQ D- rig half cell half white barrel wafter.
Back on the rods that evening after dinner still no signs of chasing yet !
Well it was great to see Nobby on the bank next his Best weight 47 lb 6 oz on cell wafter topped with half a white pop up followed by clover best weight 39 lb 2 oz, shortly after I slipped the net under a 42 lb mirror then the Daisy spot rod went off and yes it was Daisy new lake record 70 lb 4 oz amazing feeling.
Followed up by another named fish Marley @ 45 lb 14 oz a power house of a near leather male carp.

So I finished up with what dreams are made of a new PB new lake record and my first 70 lb fish !
My average weight this year from January is now 49.1 amazing !

18th April 2020

Well all the jobs around the lake completed, so it was back down the lake for a couple of nights to keep the fish on their toes ready for when this nightmare all comes to an end.

Fishing swim 9 all out on freshly made IQ D -rigs size 2 curve Shank xx hooks, 4 oz leads on lead clip systems,1 meter of camo tubing everything bait boated out fishing over peachy keen boilies all on 15 mm cell wafters.

First morning early doors 5.15 am Williams showed up @ 53 lb 8 oz l was buzzing, shes starting to fill up but no way ready I was worried to be honest coming down because there has been a lot of chasing first part of the week and they have already spawned in the house lake.
So I finished up around 8 am next morning with a 44 lb mirror caught off the Daisy spot my heart was racing this time on a Ronnie rig size 4 half cell half yellow pop up, then as I put that one back rod straight in front roared off lovely mint common @ 48 lb wafter rig half cell half white so ended up with a total of 3 fish !
Back on the mower theres work to be done before my next session hpoefully before they spawn !

Weather was  settled warm mid early 20's winds are everywhere !
