That's us now until mid August we aren't taking anymore bookings until after this due to my change in health.
Me and Ellen will now enjoy our last summer here and I will get some fishing in and post updates on our Facebook page when I catch.
Fish will be fed the same as last year when we were closed so weight gains will be good again going on this year's results !

Two lovely couples this week from the north of England,
Mike And Gwen who have been here many times before fishing 9 and 10 and there friends John and Sarah fishing 3 and 4 they are all using lake particle mix,pellet and various pop ups.
Gwen was on the Daisy spot but we didn't see the big girl this week.
What a shame it's been so hard going carp started spawning heavy on Sunday and were at it for a good 3 days on and off, into Wednesday lots more showing on the spots but with the weather in the mid 30's the fish just won't having it,Mike on swim 10 40 and a 35 lb John on swim 4 banked a 12 lb kitten and Sarah banked one of this year's stockies @ 26 lb.
The weather was roasting into the mid 30's hot sunshine blue skies very warm nights 21 + doesn't look like it's going to change for at least another week or so going into the high 30's next week it's officially a heat wave now here in France,John and Sarah went home very tanned fishing on the sunny side.

The lake gets a rest this week,lots of jobs can be done around the lake ready for our new anglers next week.
Think it would be rude not to wet a line inbetween jobs to get a few on the bank, damn it didn't happen too busy !
Weather was very warm upto 30 degrees again a couple of cooler days and a wicked storm inbetween.

Group of 3 Dad's and there Sons from Beconsfield, Bucks.
Graham and Harry on swims 9 and 10,
Simon and Ollie on Blue lagoon and swim 5,
John and Christian on Blue lagoon.
It was always going to be tough for these guys what with the hot weather lack of experience compared to other guys who fish the lake,as stated on our website this lake isn't for beginners.
Guys used particle,pellet and various boilies.
What a different week this was only the one fish out of main lake swim 10 Graham 38 lb the lads did ok on the Blue Lagoon catching a few doubles and Christian banking a 30 + mirror shame its wasn't weighed it could have been the new Blue lagoon record !
Weather was very warm all week very little break from the sun with temperatures hitting 34 degrees.
Guys didn't fish though the night and two left early Wednesday morning with the others following early Friday morning.
Put aside the lack of carp out the main lake guys all had a fantastic chilled out week with there sons.

Family over this week,
Bro in law Jay is fishing from Sunday ish on swim 9 I will be watching helping working lol,
Bait being used will be particle/pellet/PRF boilies various white pop ups and Wafters.
Well it's never going to be easy fishing a lake full of very intelligent fish on your own chasing them never works so Jay who started fishing late Sunday afternoon chose swim 9 on the off chance he could catch Daisy.
But after 48 hours with 2 fish decided to try swim 2 still struggling to get the fish to take any kind of boilie he changed tactics fishing combi rig critically balanced maize over particle/pellet and it worked I then became busy on the camera.
He ended the week with 27.3,27.10 C,31,32.4,35.8,35.14,36.10,43.3,Jenny @ 44 lb 8 oz and Katie her best weight @ 52 lb 4 oz all falling for maize.
Jay finished fishing Friday morning and left us with a new style 50's Club hoodie back to our home town in Blighty !
Weather this week was and still is roasting Friday afternoon was 34 degrees and it's not changing over the weekend.
Will be glad to be back in my own bed tonight I won't miss Jays snoring lol.

Martyn and partner Shelly from Suffolk on the lake this week, Martyn has been a regular since May 2010 and has had some wicked results The Big Scale @ 49 lb 8 oz before he was 50,catches for the week going over 40 fish and weights of nearly 600 kgs.Martyn has booked the lake exclusively for himself.
He will be using Tails up pro seed and pro fruits 18 mm and Dumbbells.
I think we were all surprised how quiet it started this week the first fish was Monday morning swim 9 33 lb 8 oz very quiet down that end after last week high pressure dominating 1032 most of this week stupid temperatures 32 degrees Wednesday 15 degrees Thursday we think the fish spawned again change in tactics Thursday onto particle/pellet has seen more fish on the bank stretch the common 41 lb also 35.8 31.8 25.8 all male fish from swim 7 which is also a sign they have spawned again.
