New group of 3 lads this week booking the whole lake to themselves Alex,Tim and Sam from Derbyshire fishing swims 9,10 and 3. Fishing this week was very hard with the biggest fish of the week being only 35lb 8oz coming off swim 10 the bigger fish seemed preoccupied with eating fry, fish were only picking up small baits and guys found tiger nuts being top bait of the week. All swims produced fish, the huge rise in temperature and dry conditions didn't help, stock lake this week fished slow no sturgeon being banked. Weather was very hot and sunny 30 - 34 degrees with a strong gusty northerly wind, water temperature 24 - 26 degrees. Top swim 10. Top bait tiger nuts. Top rod was Alex. Sam lost 2 nice cats on the last night and Tim enjoyed the carp on the stock lake as much as the big lake,Guys cant come back next year because of other commitments but as there testimonial reads they will be back,Thanks guys great meeting you all.
